3 Cocktails to Enjoy Poolside This Summer

The first official day of summer is just days away and the season of grilling, entertaining and enjoying the outdoors is about to arrive. Our pool pavilion features an al fresco kitchen for perfect for prepping your favorite poolside treats and a TV lounge on which to enjoy them. If relaxing by the pool with a cocktail in your hand sounds like the perfect summertime activity, we’ve got a few ideas.

 

Georgia Peach Moscow Mule

Prep Time: 5 minutes / Cook Time: 2 minutes

You can never go wrong with the classics when it comes to cocktails, but we understand wanting to add a bit of a refreshing twist. The easy addition of fruity, delicious peaches to the ever so delicious Moscow mule is sure to become one of your new and improved favorites.

Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 ounces peach vodka
  • 1/2 ounce fresh lime juice
  • 1/2 cup ginger beer
  • 1-2 stems of fresh mint plus more for garnish
  • 1 peach peeled and sliced
  • Fresh lime wedges, peaches, and mint for garnish
  • Ice cubes

Blueberry Mojitos

Prep Time: 5 minutes / Cook Time: 5 minutes

Time to feel blue. Blueberry that is. These Blueberry Mojitos are the ideal sip to pair with your summertime get-together. Not only is it easy to prep, it’s equally as tasty & pitchers of this scrumptious concoction will be hard to keep filled.

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup fresh blueberries plus more for garnish
  • 1 lime halved lengthwise and sliced
  • 12 mint leaves plus 4 mint sprigs for garnish
  • 1 and 1/2 tablespoons lime juice
  • 3 tablespoons sugar
  • 6 ounces of white rum
  • 1 and 1/2 cups sparkling water

Fresh Watermelon Mint Juleps

Prep Time: 5 minutes / Cook Time: 25 minutes

Watermelon is probably the most iconic summer treat, so it’s only fitting to give it an adult twist for your summer enjoyment. We’re pretty sure this cocktail is one in a “melon” and we’re positive you’ll become obessed.

Ingredients:

  • 2 1/2 ounces bourbon
  • 2 ounces fresh watermelon juice
  • 1 ounce mint simple syrup
  • 1 ounce club soda
  • Crushed ice
  • Fresh mint leaves
  • Watermelon wedges for serving
